Why does an attorney’s reputation matter?

A person’s reputation, regardless of their profession, is an extension of their character. And, in the legal profession, character is vitally important. So much so, that all attorneys are closely regulated by a state bar organization for the state they are licensed in. This is to ensure that they respect the rule of the law, act ethically and always in the best interest of their clients.

An attorney’s ability to get a good outcome for your case is one-part facts, one-part client, and one-part attorney. So then, with your attorney playing such an important role in your case, in a system where good character is highly regarded, you can see why it’s important to consider reputation when choosing an attorney to represent you.

Reputation and skill sets

Your attorney has a body of work that goes as far back as they do. As we discussed in one of our earlier blogs, that reputation includes legal skills, good work, experience, and awareness of process. All of which is demonstrated by an attorney’s organization and client preparation. At RDF, we spend a lot of time talking with our clients to make sure they understand the process from beginning to end, and so they know what to expect at each court appearance.

What sets Reynolds Defense Firm apart from solo practitioners, and even some other firms, is our team approach.  As you can imagine, one attorney means one reputation, and unfortunately, nobody has the ability to modify their reputation on a case by case basis. Five attorneys, on the other hand, is five options to get the best results for your case. Of course, this doesn’t mean that any one of our attorneys can get back-door deals. And, the law is the same regardless of the attorney. But the ability to use not just the law, but all other skill sets, together with all other aspects of the criminal justice system, is what gives our team a unique ability to help our clients.
