Spring is finally here!  While we all gain something new this time of year, even if it’s just a little more vitamin D from the sun, what happens if you still feel your success and satisfaction is stuck in 3rd gear?  When we follow the same exact daily routine, time seems to move slower and our satisfaction in life decreases.  Living a mindful and balanced life is vital for productivity, and while we all have phases where life is out of balance, there’s nothing like a great comeback!

We discussed the idea of success and finding ways to stay happy at one of our weekly staff meetings.  While we were pretty happy with the way life was going, we all know what it’s like to feel uninspired, stuck, and maybe a little bored with our circumstances.  After talking about how this dissatisfaction affects our happiness and productivity at work, we came up with ways to combat this.  As it turns out, regular variety is key!

Here are some of our team’s best tips if you’re feeling stuck this season:

  1. Switch it up! The change can be as little as taking a different route to drive home or a bigger change like getting a new haircut.
  2. Pursue your passions. You can find a new hobby to enjoy or reconnect with interests that found themselves on the back burner.
  3. Take a moment to celebrate—not only by yourself, but with your  team too! Well earned compliments and smiles are contagious.
  4. Schedule a self-care day—Take time to recharge. You can schedule an extra hour or two of sleep once per week, schedule a wellness visit with your local chiropractor, or even enjoy a trip to the spa. Whatever you do, aim to relax!
