Looking for something fun to do this weekend in Portland?  We have lots of options for you – be awed, eat & drink, be scared, or inspired…you pick!

Oregon International Air Show – September 28-30

Looking to be awed?  The Oregon International Air Show, is for you.  This event featuring airplanes up close and in the air, aerobatics, skydivers, a kids’ zone, and Friday fireworks at Hillsboro Airport.  Flying begins at noon and lasts until 4:00.  

OMSI Harvest Festival – September 30th

Enjoy the bounty of Oregon at the OMSI Harvest Festival while indulging in snacks, sweets, and produce from the Pacific Northwest region! Learn about Oregon specialty crops with over 30 vendors from local farms, CSA’s, cooking demonstrations and artisan vendors. There’s fun for the whole family, including kids activities, llamas, construction equipment, and live entertainment on the stage. This is a free event from 10-4pm, parking is $5.00.

Haunted house: 13th Door – September 28-November 3rd

The 13th Door Haunted House is billed as Portland’s oldest Halloween attraction as well as rated as the #1 Haunted House Attraction in the Northwest, featuring animated creatures and theatrical actors.   You may find yourself plagued by rotting zombies in an old overgrown cemetery and almost trampled to death by the wild horse dragging its hearse and undead passengers! Opens Thursday-Sunday at 7pm through November.

Tiny house festival – September 29-30th

Come celebrate tiny living at TinyFest NorthWest! Explore a variety of tiny houses from pro-builders and DIYers. Tour tiny houses on wheels, backyard cottages, shipping container homes, vans, bus conversions and more! Enjoy the Marketplace, live music, and good food!  This year’s Tiny House Festival has moved to the Lane Events Center in Eugene.  The festival is from 10-7 Saturday and Sunday – Children under 12 are free!
