Hello, weekend! With fall officially here in Oregon, we’ve got a mix of indoor and outdoor activities so you can still have fun – even if the weather turns!
September 15th-17th – Feast Portland
Feast Portland is more than a food and drink festival. It’s a movement that showcases the energy, creativity and enthusiasm that’s driving the food revolution while celebrating two of the culinary world’s most inspiring places: Portland and Oregon. Feast also has a strong charitable component to its mission. Since 2012, Feast has raised over $300,000 to help end childhood hunger in Oregon and across the country.
September 15th-17th – Tiny House Event
Tour alternative housing options, meet builders, learn DIY tips with hands-on workshops, and explore sustainable lifestyles at the Tiny House Living Festival at Clark County Fairgrounds. Children 12 and younger are free.
September 15th-16th – Junk Bonanza
Antiquers, junkers and flea market lovers can browse from 50 vendors at Junk Bonanza at the Oregon Convention Center this weekend 9am-5pm Saturday & Sunday
September 16th- Portland Timbers vs Real Salt Lake
The Portland Timbers play RSL – show your support for MLS in their efforts of kick childhood cancer in “Scarftember”. For every social media post with MLS scarves, they will donate $1 to Children’s Oncology Group. Our Senior Associate, Josh Gibbs clearly supports both – check out his office! Post your own scarf photo on Twitter with the #ScarvesUP
September 16th – Sidewalk Chalk Art Festival
The Sidewalk Chalk Art Festival has been taking place for over 25 years. Since 1991 the Sidewalk Chalk Art Festival has grown to be one of the most anticipated and fun events in Washington County. Anyone can take part in the fun, no matter what their artistic skills might be. It is great to see the creative drawings taking shape throughout the day and to stroll the downtown blocks after the event to see the wonderful artwork. The cost is $7 for Valley Art Members, $12 for non-members, and includes a tray of brilliant colorful chalk and a square of downtown Forest Grove sidewalk for the day. There is no charge to observe!
