PDX World Cup Fan Festival at Far Post – June 15th – July 15th
This fun event kicked off earlier this month, but considering visitors and tourists refer to Portland as “Soccer City USA,” we thought it would be nice to give you a friendly nudge about it. It’s time for World Cup Fan Fest, and Portland is celebrating by featuring an outdoor festival filled with soccer entertainment, music, viewing parties, and more. The theme is fair play and comradery, so if you would like to “play nice” and bond with other soccer fans, this event is for you.
Chamber Music Northwest 2018 Summer Festival – June 25th – July 29th
Just in case you missed out on the Oregon Music Festival’s debut, Chamber Music Northwest’s 2018 Summer Festival wants to bring your outdoors to enjoy the sound of music! With over 60 concerts and events lined up over the next 5 weeks, you’ll have plenty of time to participate in the fun.
Portland Wing Week – June 25th – June 30th
Get excited, Portland! There are restaurants all over town that will be offering you one of the best foodie deals of the summer. If you couldn’t guess by the title, cheap wings are here this weekend! You’ll be able to purchase and devour 6 wings for $5 all over the town. And yes, it’s all you can eat. Yum!
Rugged Maniac 5k Obstacle Race – June 30th
Rugged Maniac… have you heard of it? It’s an event were you get to run a 5k as you go through 25 obstacle courses on your way to the finish line. You’ll even get to leap over fire! Once you’re finished, there’s a day-long festival filled with tons of games and activities. You’ll need to register and select a time to participate, so if you’re interested, register here.
Portland Frocktails – June 30th
It doesn’t matter if you are self-taught or a professional, Portland Frocktails welcomes sewists and designers who have a fond appreciation for fabric. This is an event that will be filled with dinner and door prizes. Please arrive hungry and bring something you’ve made to swap! Swanky attire is encouraged, and you’ll be able to chat with people who share your passion for fashion.
