Hello, weekend!  Portland loves its summer festivals, and this weekend is no different.  Celebrate country music, tea, or pop music over the next few days.  If that doesn’t sound like fun, there’s 2 other evening activities that will help you relax.  Keep reading!

Wild Hare Country Festival – July 20th – 21st

Country music fans unite!  This year, the Wild Hare Country fest will bring you popular Texas, Red Dirt and Outlaw Country acts to the area.  The festival area includes a tent camping and RV option, a Texas two-step dancefloor, food and drink vendors, and more.

Flicks on Bricks – July 20th – Aug 17th

Movie nights in Portland’s living room are back!  It’s the Rose City’s largest outdoor movie theater, and it’s free to the public at Pioneer Square.  This year’s movie lineup includes:  Wonder Women, Black Panther, Coco, Grease and Mean Girls.  There will even be pre-movie music, so please bring a blanket, low back chair and pillows so you can spend more time enjoying yourself with others.

Tea Fest PDX – July 21st

It doesn’t matter if you’re a tea connoisseur or just curious about it, Tea Fest PDX is back for it’s second year!  In an effort to celebrate community and all things “tea” there will be several tastings and tea-related activities for you to enjoy.  Highlights include yoga, tai chi, musical performances, classes, and of course, tea drinking.

OMSI Star Party: Lunar Viewing – July 21st

The moon will be in a solid position for viewing, and the OMSI and Rose City Astronomers took notice.  If you decided to attend the free Star Parties at Rooster Rock State Park and Stub Stewart State Park, you’ll be in for  treat.  Guests will be able to view our fantastic solar system, and for this event, Mars is being featured.

PDX Pop Now! July 21st & 22nd

For it’s 15th straight year, PDX Pop Now! festival is returning with so many fun features.  There will be two days of Portland band performances, a street fair, and local food cart favorites.  The event is run entirely by volunteers in order to support making music fun and accessible.
