Tualatin Crawfish Festival – August 3rd &4th
This festival was originally founded to celebrate the completion of the new VFW hall on Senca Street in Tualatin. The event has grow to become a huge event, and is locally referred to as Tualatin’s annual “block party”. Every year, the guest of honor is always the fish, and even features a crawfish eating contest. Join Tualatin for this family friendly event that features good food and entertainment.
Pickathon – August 3rd – 5th
Enjoy a musical oasis filled with camping, wellness, and tasty food. The Pickathon organization will continue to eliminate waste through a reusable dishwater and cup system, all while you enjoy time with your friends and family. It’s a unique event that helps to save the environment. If you want to enjoy your time at this all-ages music festival, head to Pendarvis Farm in Happy Valley, OR and enjoy the beautiful backdrop of the Pacific Northwest.
Fremont Fest – August 4th
Enjoy an entertaining festival on Fremont Street in Portland this Saturday! You’ll be able to shop local and enjoy all the yummy food and beverages you can only find in Oregon. The year, the event will feature live music, a free kid zone, and a pet parade!
NW Fossil Fest – August 4th & 5th
Don’t be fooled by this event’s name. The NW Fossil Fest offers more than just a fossil show. When you visit the Rice Northwest Museum of Rocks and Minerals, you will be dazzled with a variety of educational features of rocks, minerals, gem, jeweries and fossils. There will be food to purchase, live music and children activities. Children under age 4 are free, otherwise, enjoy a budget-friendly admission of $6 per person.
3rd Annual Portland Hot Sauce Expo – August 4th & 5th
This event is bringing the heat! The 3rd annual Portland Hot Sauce Expo is featuring the best of the best hot sauce companies in the Pacific Northwest. There will be some international rivals here too, but bottom line, there will be plenty of spicy food. If you’re feeling brave and want to test your taste buds out, head to OMSI in Portland.
