Whale Watching Week – March 28th – 31st

There are grey whales that migrate past the Oregon Coast each year, and 2018 is no different.  In Oregon, the Whale Watching Spoken Here® program strategically places volunteers at popular whale watching sites.  Why?  Volunteers want to make sure visitors to miss out on the action.  The volunteers are trained, and several come back each year to make sure that all 24 sites in the Pacific Northwest are accounted for.  You don’t have to be a whale expert to come participate, just bring visual aiding devices and your sense of curiosity along to witness these rare marine animals travel across the sea.
