RDF Employee Spotlight: Devin Foust, Operations Administrator!

Written by Reynolds Defense Firm

On February 25, 2022

Here at Reynolds Defense Firm, we’re pretty lucky to have such an amazing team of folks working together to support our clients. ‘Solid’ is the word we use for those people you can trust under just about any circumstance, and that standard is what we use to describe the entire RDF Team.  Every person here at Reynolds Defense Firm is an “A” player and we each understand that our individual role is essential to the overall success of our team.  We’d like to focus some time highlighting our team members and offering an inside look to the culture and community that make up Reynolds Defense Firm.  This month, we shine the spotlight on Devin!

What is your favorite part of your job with RDF?

I love that every single day is different and that I have the freedom to test out what works best for me as an employee. Second to that would be the people. Not only do I work with some uplifting, smart, and supportive people, I also get to work with our clients and I enjoy building a rapport with them and being a part of their experience with us.

Who is one of your heroes?

Donovan McNabb. His work to bring sports to lower-income families is inspiring. I can’t tell you how much I missed out on because we were poor growing up.

Share some of your interests and passions outside of work.

I have a lot of unique hobbies! I love Fire Spinning, camping, hiking, biking, and everything outdoors. In the summer, it’s hard to keep me inside! I’m also a huge nerd. I play a bi-weekly Dungeons and Dragons game and board games have my heart. There’s something special about gathering people together to play a game. My best friend and sister has 5 kids and I’ve been a part of their lives for almost the entirety of them, and it has truly been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. There is no limit to what you can learn from kids!

Describe yourself in five words or less.

Spontaneous, Honest, Adaptive, Loyal, and Passionate.

Fire spinning!

What small gesture from a stranger made a big impact on you?

I can’t think of anything off the top of my head, but I’m sure there is something! For now, I can share that spreading random acts of kindness is extremely important to me. I really try to make sure that I compliment 3 strangers every day, and it can be as small as I like your nails or shirt, but people really love when you notice the little things. There’s just something about how they light up.
