We’re officially nearing the end of Winter. Get out and celebrate this weekend with some vintage shopping, celebrity sightings, and of course, a costume bike ride!

February 24th – City Bike Ride

Worst Day Ride is a Portland cycling classic to keep you on your bike year round. Hosted by Community Cycling Center, the course ranges from 4 to 42 miles of well marked routes. In addition the fun bike excursion, there will be a costume contest with prizes, hot soup, grilled cheese sandwiches, and a cocoa bar at the finish line. Helmet required. Kids 12 and younger free. the event is expected to sell out so get your tickets today!

February 25th – Flea Market

The Portland Flea & Food is a monthly market held on the last Sunday of the month in Portland, Oregon. Every market features 40+ local artists, makers, and curators of the best vintage, handmade and locally-sourced goods in town. The event runs from 11am – 4pm and admission is free!

February 22nd – 24th – Comic Book Convention

Wizard World Portland Comic Con is a celebration of comic books, science fiction, fantasy, film, animation, and card games. The show will feature a ton of celebrity guests like Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones and Aqua Man) and Alyson Hannigan (Buffy and How I met Your Mother). This incredible, action-packed event will be fun for the whole family and is happening at the Oregon Convention Center.

February 22nd – 24th – Rock Show

Not that kind of rock show. This is the 68th Annual Oregon Agate & Mineral Show, presented by OMSI. You can explore the wonders of nature through 30 exhibits of beautiful Northwest rocks. There will an active ‘Kids’ Corner’, hand-crafted jewelry and window hangings for sale, and you will have an opportunity to watch club members cut, grind, and polish dazzling stones. The best part is that the event is FREE and sure to impress.
