March 30th – 31st – Gold & Treasure Show
Did you know that there is more gold to be mined today, in 2019, than there was during the Gold Rush Era? Gold prospecting and treasure hunting has become a very popular and family oriented hobby. Taking place at the Portland Expo Center, the GPAA Gold and Treasure show, there is something for just about everyone to do in their search for that elusive gold and treasure! Whether young, old, or somewhere in the middle, the excitement of unearthing your first spec of gold is something unforgettable. The Gold and Treasure expos are great opportunities to experience that level of excitement first hand. Fun for the whole family, and kids under 12 are get in free!
March 29th – J Names Improv Show
We all know that laughter is the best medicine; so if you’re still shaking off the last bits of your winter blues, J Names might be the just what the doctor ordered. Get ready to fall over in your seat during this completely improvised, off-the-cuff performance, held at the Curious Comedy Theater. J Names is a true representation of all the comedy theaters and most of the top improvisers in Portland. We’re big fans of the J Names players here at RDF, so you might catch a few of our people belly-laughing in the audience.
March 29 – April 1st – Women’s Basketball
College sports fans are in for a real treat this weekend! The 2019 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament features 64 teams playing for a national title. These impressive athletes have gathered in cities around the US to represent their schools in what is likely the most important competition of their young lives. Feel the passion and the pressure from the Moda Center stands this weekend, and witness a piece of the incredible journey to national recognition. There will be two semi finals games this Friday and the regional championship game on Sunday. You won’t want to miss this monumental moment in Oregon sports.
