Spring break may be coming to an end, but that doesn’t mean the fun has to stop! You still have plenty of time to take in all the cool things we shared last week, and then some! Enjoy family time around the city, experience the energy of cheering crowds, and appreciate awe-inspiring artwork … What better way to bring March to a close?
The Lost Gnomes – Portland Treasure Hunt – March 26th
On one day only, six gnomes will be hidden in a public park somewhere in the Beaverton/Hillsboro area. Registered players will be sent an email that morning with the name of the park and jumbled directions for finding the gnomes. Players will have to unjumble the directions, then reply to the email with their name and a photo of at least one gnome in the park. Prizes will be awarded and entry for this fun, family event is only $5!
The Nature of Glass – Art Show – March 25-27th
The Nature of Glass features the Fused Glass landscapes of Linda Gerrard. Linda is known for creating landscapes with depth and complexity made entirely of fused glass. This is a very tricky medium due to its opacity, its transparency, and don’t forget the reflections! Th exhibit ends March 29th, so don’t miss it!
Trailblazers vs. Rockets – Basketball Game – March 25-26th
