It’s the final weekend in January! We’re just inches into this fresh new decade, and new beginnings are all around us. From sunup to sundown there will be plenty of things to keep you busy – like games, trains and cultural-feels. Don’t miss out!

January 25th – Fix It Fair

The objective of this event is to create a self-sufficient society while creating connections between individual community members. At the Fix It Fair, you will learn to save money on utilities, make important household updates, grow your own food, and minimize your carbon footprint – yourself! Think about the neighborhood you live in – there are people inside all those homes! People with their own interests and life experiences. People who can teach us a thing or two! Got something to share? Then head on down to Fix It Fair!

January 24th – 25th – Motorcycle Film Festival

The Hollywood Theater hosts some incredible niche film festivals, and this weekend is no different. See the world from the back of a Harley at the PDX Motorcycle Film Festival! Motorcycles maintain a certain “cool factor” in pretty much every culture, and this event showcases moto-centric films from all over the world! The judges for this festival include experts in motorcycles, journalism, and film. We can’t wait to witness the magic at the PDX Motorcycle Film Festival!

January 25th – February 9th – Chinese New Year

Lan Su’s two-week New Year celebration begins this weekend! With one of the most joyous and colorful events around, we welcome the Year of the Rat. January 25th – 26th – Train Show

Nothing shouts yesteryear like an old fashioned model train. If you’re looking for a family friendly dose of nostalgia, you’re going to love the Great Train Show!
