With most events being cancelled within our state, many people have come up with the solution by doing some of these fun activities virtually. This way we can stay busy, entertained and continue socializing. We’ve found these virtual activities just for you!

Easter Fun

Just because we’re stuck in doors doesn’t mean the Easter activities have to stop! Start off making some colorful eggs. You can do this with food coloring or natural dyes all at home! Try having a glow in the dark egg hunt at home, blindfolded egg hunts and camouflaged Easter eggs. If you need some more ideas to create a fun Easter egg hunt, click here!

Grammy Museum

The Grammy Museum has created a digital public program that includes sit-down interviews with artists and musicians in its Clive Davis Theater. Since the Museum opened 12 years ago, it has offered more than 900 Public Programs. This weekend will include Tanya Tucker with Brandi Carlile & Shooter Jennings  and Common. They also offer virtual exhibitions including this weekend, its called Whitney! You can even look now.

Virtual Concerts

Because many tours and concerts have been cancelled, many artists have been hosting virtual concerts on social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram. Some of these concerts include the New York Philharmonic: Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 1 and Fifth Symphony and Fifth Symphony, Christian McBride + Melissa Walker: Jazz House KiDS’ Friday Night Listening Party, and even a virtual music festival called Human to Human on Facebook.

Virtual Webinars and Workshops

Take some time to watch some webinars or make one on your own! There’s many webinars out there that you could watch to get some insight on some of things happening in the world or even some self-improvement.  They’re a great tool for connecting with others and enjoying what others have to offer. Many platforms are also offering free workshops to help you learn some new skills, inspiration or if you just wanna be creative. These workshops include photography, photoshop tricks, tips on talking to people, and so many more!

Check back every week for more fun suggestions of things to help keep you happy, healthy and active while your stuck indoors.
