It is officially the season of fall festivals. As much as we love pumpkin patches and the scent of cinnamon, we’re taking a less traditional approach this weekend with a good blend of events that offer education, culture, and tons of FUN as we roll into October. Check it out!
Beaverton Restaurant Week – Ends October 2nd
This is the last weekend to experience unique, limited-time menu items for more than 40 restaurants in downtown Beaverton for Restaurant Week! And the Beaverton Downtown Association will host a daily drawing. All you have to do is take a picture of the chosen menu item, share it on social media, and tag #beavertonrestaurantweek. (And give a shout-out to the restaurant too.) BDA will draw a random winner each day to receive a $25 Gift Card from one of the MANY restaurants participating in this year’s event. Get more info here.
Dancing in the Square Powwow – September 30th
Be sure to visit Pioneer Square in downtown for a drum ceremony, performance, and educational series on programs and projects. The Northwest Portland Area Indian Health Board (NPAIHB) staff will showcase their projects and work to celebrate its 50th anniversary. NPAIHB was founded in 1972 with the mission to eliminate health disparities and improve the quality of life of American Indians and Alaska Natives by supporting Northwest Tribes in their delivery of culturally appropriate, high-quality healthcare. Help celebrate fifty years of serving the 43 federally recognized tribes in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho.

Portland Greek Festival – Sept. 30th – Oct 2nd
