UFO Festival – May 13th and 14th
Every year, thousands of visitors flock to McMinnville, a quiet Willamette Valley town located an hour southwest of Portland, to attend the city’s famous UFO Festival. Second in popularity only to the UFO festival in Roswell, New Mexico, Oregon’s annual celebration features days full of parades, costume contests, expert speakers and family fun. Nordic Vintage and Treasure Sale – May 13th and 14th

CineVox Dance Film Festival – May 13th and 14th
Now in its 6th year, Oregon’s premiere Dance Film Festival returns! Presented by BodyVox, CineVox features three different programs. These include both short and feature-length films from around the world as well as here in Portland. This year, CineVox will feature an evening of films dedicated to the work of BIPOC film artists. Oregon Humane Society’s Doggie Dash – May 14th
Join Portland’s BIGGEST party for pets and people this Saturday – the Doggy Dash at Tom McCall Waterfront Park. Enjoy a wonderful walk or run through Portland (with or without your dog), and/or join in for many activities: vendor booths, live music, food vendors, canine contests and more. The goal is to raise $780,000 for the Oregon Humane Society – let’s help Oregon’s animals!
