Every year near the end of August, burger craving Portlanders start salivating over the Portland Mercury’s Burger Week offerings. This year 81 separate locations are offering delicious one-of-a-kind burgers for only $8! For a list of the special burgers and locations follow the link above and get your grease on! Hawthorne Street Fair

Celebrating the 40^th anniversary of one of Portland’s favorite street fairs. Hawthorne Boulevard is a beloved street among locals and visitors alike, with plenty of quaint shops, hip restaurants and an iconic movie theater, The Bagdad Theater. Hawthorne Boulevard will be closed to cars and the street will be filled with vendors, food, music, and family-friendly entertainment. Sunday, August 27^th 11am-5pm beginning at SE Hawthorne and SE 33^rd. Free and all ages.

Oregonians Unite!

Soak up the fun August 25^th to September 4^th at the Oregon State Fair. With live music, carnival rides, 4-H competitions, petting farm and so much more, there is fun for the whole family! Special performances by Colbie Caillat and The Beach Boys ensure this will be the end of summer event you do NOT want to miss! Get your tickets ahead of time here Fair opens at 10am every day.
