Mother’s Day weekend is right around the corner, do you have anything planned? Well, if you don’t, no need to stress. There is still plenty of time to make all those special mothers in your life feel special, and we have come up with some fun plans for everyone!

Virtual Cooking Class

Do you enjoy cooking, eating good food and spending time with others? Then take a virtual cooking class! Many restaurants, chefs and bakers have created virtual classes that you can sign up for and they will help you make something delicious. Blueprint is a great source because it offers a variety of classes, depending on skill or recipe! Another great resource is Instagram. Many chefs from the Portland area have been hosting live cooking shows, including Chef Paley, and his show will include user-friendly recipes, advocacy, comedy, and cameos from his wife and business partner Kimberly. Join in for some Mother’s Day fun!

Go for a Bike Ride or Walk

As the sun starts coming out of hiding more, the better it is to go out and enjoy it with your loved ones! Even though many parks and hiking spots are closed, there is still some great places to go out and go for a bike ride or walk while still maintaining a safe distance from others.

Make a Charcuterie Board and Watch her Favorite Movie

Set up a fun movie night by getting some fancy cheeses, meats and more! Or if you need some help coming up with some ideas to make your charcuterie board, Reluctant Entertainer is a great blog that walks you through how to make a yummy one just for you. Enjoy eating and watching your loved one’s favorites movies!

Check back every week for more fun suggestions of things to help keep you happy, healthy and active while your stuck indoors.
