As Father’s Day fast approaches, you’re likely wondering how you can celebrate if you can’t get together the old-fashioned way. And even if you can get together, you may be wanting to forgo restaurant outings and other crowded spaces. Fortunately, you’ve likely become a bit savvier when it comes to social distancing and a virtual way of life. So, you can apply some of that remote revelry know-how to Father’s Day. We’ll share some fun examples below:

Home tailgating party!

This year has been pretty tough on sports fans. Set up a surprise “gameday” tailgate in the driveway featuring decorations of his favorite team.

Virtual Bingo!

What’s family without some good-natured competition? My Free Bingo Cards lets you print your bingo cards at home to play in‑person, or send out links to play a Virtual Bingo Game – they even provide a bingo caller! Choose from ready-made Number Bingo Cards or browse through bingo ideas for all occasions. You can even customize your bingo cards with your dad most common phrases, habits, or traits to make it fun!

Movie night!

Whether you watch “together” over Zoom or the phone, or while sharing the same sofa, these fatherly flicks will make you laugh, cry, and appreciate the man you’re lucky enough to call Dad. Or, let him introduce you to some of his favorite classics.

Backyard BBQ or Campfire dinner!

Gift dad with the best ribs he’ll ever have (other than the ones he prepares himself, of course). These baby back ribs get their sweet heat from a flavorful Cheerwine soda “pop” glaze. If you have a yard, lead him outside to his very own backyard campsite or cozy setup of outdoor pillows around a fire pit Cook up a spread of his favorites over a campfire.

Check back every week for more fun suggestions of things to help keep you happy, healthy and active while your stuck indoors.
