April 22 is Earth Day, so why not spend the weekend celebrating Mother Nature? It seems weather may have other plans for us. We won’t let that stop us from having a good time, though!!

April 22nd – EARTH DAY!!!

Don’t forget to take some time today to enjoy our Portland weather, as it keeps our land green and healthy! Earth Day started here in the USA in 1970, originally designed to be a “teach-in“. Although, more than 20 million people flooded the street for the event, creating history! The first Earth Day remains the largest single day protest in human history! Peace activist John McConnell proposed a day to honor the Earth and the concept of peace, and after some adjustments, we now have Earth Day every year! Please enjoy your 2021 Earth Day safely!

April 22nd – April 24th – Rose City Rollers & Portland Mercury Present LIVE Comedy! (18+)

How long has it been since you’ve had a good laugh? TOO LONG! Well, wait no longer! Rose City Rollers and Portland Mercury are teaming up to provide you a HILARIOUS weekend of burgers, comedy, and roller skating! Head on down to Oaks Amusement Park for this event hosted by Amanda Arnold anytime this weekend. You can reserve your 4-person table for $75 here, and doors open at 6:00pm for this 7:00pm event! April 24th – Pop Up Party at Waterfront Park, WA!!! (FREE!!!)

Fun for your little ones, and for those in touch with their inner child! With COVID-19, it’s been hard on our littles to get out there and socialize safely. The Columbia Play Project brings us “Pop-up Parties”, so that your family can stay safe while getting out of the house. Let’s stir up some fun instead of sitting inside going stir crazy! Plus, it’s beautiful at the Vancouver Waterfront Park! Join us between 9:30am-12:00 noon, Columbia Play Projects that you RSVP to the event here.
